About the Sakura Program for graduates

In Japan, the “sakura” cherry blossoms are a symbol of new beginnings and growth. We provide new college graduates career opportunities that will help them flourish as the sakura do every spring.

The Omron Automation Sakura student program involves 9 months of training while Sakura Trainees contribute to projects that deliver real results. We know that Sakura Trainees are looking for real responsibility, challenges, and experience, so we’re offering a chance to directly impact the future of automation.


  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, sales or engineering.
  • Aptitude and interest in technical sales, working face-to-face with customers as a career.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe tools.
  • Ability to learn additional technical skills.
