This course will provide the learner, through classroom and laboratory exercises, with a skill level sufficient to correctly maintain machine safeguarding devices and safety controls to meet the safety standard requirements. Upon successful completion of the class and receiving a passing grade on the exam, students will receive a Functional Safety Technician (TÜV Rheinland) certificate and be registered as a FS Technician (TÜV Rheinland).
This course is intended, for Technicians, Engineers, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) professionals with a minimum (one) year of factory floor manufacturing experience, or a minimum (one) year commercial / industrial electrical maintenance experience.

Registrants may cancel or reschedule training sessions without penalty, if notice is given more than 10 business days prior to the first day of training. Cancellation or rescheduling notices given less than 10 business days prior to the first day of training, will be assessed a fee equal to 50% of the training cost. If no notice is given and registrant fails to attend, 100% of the training cost will be invoiced. Omron reserves the right to cancel a class 10 business days prior to the first day of training if the minimum registration requirement is not met.
