      Version 1.56

      Effective October 2023, the following Sysmac Studio software will update to version 1.56. Changes in version 1.56 are listed below and this update will be available via auto update for 32 and 64-bit versions.

    • Solved the problem that structure members were sometimes not copied even when the structure was copied while conducting the Detailed Comparison in the Version Control function.
    • Solved the problem that inconsistencies in project data could occur when overwriting data types with overlapping namespaces while conducting the Detailed Comparison in the Version Control function.
    • Solved the problem that the Detailed Comparison window for the Version Control function might indicate “Different” in Comparison Results even after erasing all differences.
    • Solved the problem that when opening the Detailed Comparison window of the Version Control function, the re-comparison window sometimes opened many times.
    • Solved the problem that some variables were sometimes not found on the rung pattern copy setting window.
    • Solved the problem that numbers were not automatically added to the end of the project name when importing multiple of the same project.
    • Solved the problem that the topology associated with the EtherCAT port could not be restored when importing an IEC 62714 AutomationML file.

    • Solved the problem that the Simulator would not start when a pulse output unit and digital input unit on the NX Bus were assigned to a servo axis in the Simulator.
    • Solved the problem that an encoder axis’s actual position calculated with SIM_SetVelocity instruction did not become 0 or less in the Simulator. This response solved the problem that an initial value of the absolute encoder did not become 0.
    • Solved the problem in the Simulator that a major fault occurred due to "Illegal User Program/Controller Configurations and Setup" when the retained variable memory usage in NX502 exceeded 2MB (50%)

    • Solved the problem that Sysmac Studio might terminate abnormally when performing a replacement of recipes.
    • Solved the problem that changing a controller name immediately after opening a project was not reflected in the HMI.
    • Solved the problem that copying and pasting device data other than HMI while a page was opened might cause an error.
    • (Runtime) Solved the problem that short lines did not edge when two or more lines of text were left-aligned or right-aligned on a lamp object.

    • An element in the list under Cross Reference that corresponds to the selected variable in a program is highlighted.
    • Changed default values for the following items in Option Settings: Ladder Editor, ST Editor, Program Check/Build, Variables, Comments for Variables and Data Types, and Safety.
    • Memory Usage provides detailed information.
    Controller
    • Comments on system-defined variables and data types are shown on a ladder program.
    • A ladder program with a rung containing connect lines only does not cause an error when the controller unit version in the program is 1.63 or later.
    • Solved the problem that the SD memory card instruction DirRemove did not work correctly in the simulator.
    • Solved the problem that the NX102 simulator could not execute 60 SktTCPConnect instructions simultaneously.
    • Solved the problem in NX502, a variable, which used a structure or array and the size was 4 MB to 8 MB, caused an error.
    HMI
    • Improved the message that appears when the Simulator is booted doubly.
    • Solved the problem that fonts in an IAG were not replaced correctly.
    • Solved the problem that unnecessary errors might be output in a log while Page Explorer was displayed.
    • (Runtime) Solved the problem that in Soft-NA, setting to the Input Prohibited Mode with the EnableInputOperation action or function while pressing the Feedback button might hold the button ON on a pop-up page.
    • (Runtime) Solved the problem that a long press on a Tab Control in Soft-NA worked as a right-click.
    • (Runtime) Solved the problem that under a specific state of communication, a communication error might be displayed periodically while Sysmac Studio was connecting to an NJ/NX Controller of version 1.49 or later (or 1.29 if the Controller is NX7).
