Robb Black

Robb Black is the president, CEO & COO at Omron Automation Americas headquartered in Hoffman Estates, Ill. As part of the global Omron Corporation, Omron Automation is a worldwide company and leading manufacturer of technologically advanced industrial automation products and application expertise. As CEO, Robb is dedicated to delivering the company’s strategy to bring innovation to manufacturing through automation to enrich the lives of people all over the world. Under his leadership, Omron Automation Americas develops future manufacturing solutions in collaboration with customers, a process termed “innovative-Automation.” “innovative-Automation” ensures that all of Omron’s products, solutions and services are integrated, intelligent and interactive.

Robb has held a variety of sales and marketing leadership positions over the past 30+ years in industrial automation. His background in the industrial market includes extensive experience in various sensor technologies, industrial device level networks and RFID for both the factory and process automation markets. Robb has a proven track record in marketing and selling innovative high-technology products, building high-performance teams and strategic planning.

Robb’s previous leadership positions at major industrial automation companies include Rockwell Automation, Honeywell and Turck. Robb holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University, and a Master of Science degree in Management from Cardinal Stritch University, and he brings a wealth of industry experience working on both regional and global programs.

Starting from April 1, 2020, Robb has also taken the responsibility of managing Omron Delta Tau and Omron Microscan Systems. The incorporation of these two divisions into the greater Omron Automation Americas umbrella has resulted in a “One Americas” organization with the goal of providing the business talent and scalability necessary to achieve new practices of professionalism in sales, marketing and customer-centric value generation.

Mark Sadie

Vice President of Technology & Marketing, Omron Automation America / Managing Director, OCR & ODT

As Vice President of Marketing, Mark is responsible for directing a team of highly skilled leaders to create and execute innovative marketing strategies in order to grow the Omron's profitability and brand across the Americas. This includes teams from product management, digital, marketing communications, customer experience, and Automation Technology Center.

Prior to this role, Mark served as vice president of sales at Omron for 3 years where he successfully helped grow revenue by approximately 50% across the United States through a series of acquisitions and organic growth, implementing Omron’s “Innovative-Automation!” solutions. Mark has worked at Omron since 2000 and has held a number of leadership roles within the organization, primarily focused in sales.

Prior to Omron, Mark worked in a variety of technical fields in automation engineering including high-tech distribution, automotive manufacturing, and consumer products production. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Auburn University.

Peter Brouwer

Vice President of Sales – U.S. & Canada, Omron Automation Americas

As Vice President of Sales, Peter is responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives and partner relationships to support the Omron mission and overall business objective - to provide comprehensive solutions and advanced technologies exceeding customer needs.

As a respected and innovative leader, Peter will expand his leadership to include the dedicated sales and application engineering teams across the United States and Canada. Peter brings a broad range of experience with over 20 years of experience in the industrial automation industry. He also has a well-earned reputation for motivating his team to success and maintaining a high level of dedication and commitment.

Prior to this role, Peter successfully managed all facets of Omron’s Canadian industrial automation business as Vice President of Omron Canada. Today, Peter remains the executive director of Omron Canada. Peter holds an MBA from McMaster University, along with a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Brock University. He also earned the OACETT Certified Engineering Technologist designation in Ontario, where he resides with his wife and two children. Peter is located at the Toronto office.

Lance Schulstad

Vice President of Finance & Risk Officer, Omron Automation Americas

Lance Schulstad joined Omron Automation Americas in 2018 as the Executive Director of Finance. In this role, he is responsible for the finance, accounting and decision support across the Americas.  He also serves on the Board of Directors as the Secretary and Risk Officer of Omron Electronics and Omron Canada Inc.

Lance comes to the organization with over 25 years of diversified finance, accounting and leadership experiences. Prior to joining Omron, he spent nearly 20 years at Kraft Heinz, where he held leadership positions of increasing responsibility. During this time, Lance had a demonstrated record for successfully developing strategy, growing profitable brands, maximizing performance and building high performance teams.

Most recently, Lance was the Director FP&A overseeing the US Retail Sales organization. He was also the Director FP&A / Controller of the Grocery Business Unit and CFO Desserts. He held senior finance positions in Corporate FP&A, Nabisco Integration, Development, Special Projects, Supply Chain, IT and Procurement.

Before Kraft Heinz, Lance held various finance and accounting positions at The Rank Organization and CF industries. He received his bachelor’s degree from DePaul in accounting and his MBA from Loyola with a concentration in Finance.  He resides in the Chicagoland area with his wife and three kids.

Guerrino “Reno” Suffi

Vice President of Business Development & Customer Services, Omron Automation Americas

As Vice President of Business Development and Customer Services of Omron Automation, Reno leads our customer and engineering services teams with the mission of empowering our customers, as well as improving lives and contributing to a better society. In collaboration with our world partners, Reno has led the acquisition and integration of our motion control, robotics, safety services, auto-ID/micro-vision and industrial camera acquisitions. These acquisitions have led to the first fully integrated articulated robot, motion kinematics, vision guidance and safety solution which ensure the realization of a sustainable manufacturing advantage for Omron’s premier customers.

After joining Omron Automation in 1996 as a product manager, Reno built his career within Omron Automation in various leadership positions. Reno served as director of marketing and communications through 2010. Most recently, Reno serviced as senior director of business development. Reno’s passion for emerging and applied technology and our core value -- Innovation Driven by Social Needs -- enables us to collaborate with our customers and partners to create a competitive manufacturing advantage. Reno has a BSEE from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in quantum electronics and electro-optics. In 2009, 2012 and 2014 through 2018, Omron awarded Reno Omron’s Global Award (TOGA) for business innovation and contribution to a better society.

Carlos Neves

Executive Director - South America, Omron Automation Americas

Carlos Neves is an executive director at Omron Automation. He is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil and is responsible for leading Omron’s automation business in South America, Central America and Caribbean region. With more than 20 years of experience in industrial automation, he has held many leadership positions in the areas of business management, product, engineering and sales.

He joined Omron Automation in 2017 after working at Festo in Germany and Brazil as the head of a business unit responsible for automation solutions such as electrical cabinets, services, turnkey automation projects. He worked with customers from many segments, including automotive, food, packaging, beverage, mining and digital.

Carlos holds a bachelor´s degree in Electrical Engineering, an MBA and MSc in Engineering in São Paulo, Brazil and an MBA in international management in Germany.
