Machine builders often face the challenge of finding a flexible door switch that offers accurate detection, simple wiring and supports multi-door applications. The D40 series supports a wide range of risk levels strategies, thanks to its electronic detection mechanism for better stability, integrated monitoring, and self-diagnostics. In addition, led indicators provide access to diagnostic information at a glance.  With a flexible design, the D40 can be mounted on either side of the opening, simplifying wiring and installation.  For multi-door applications, up to 30 D40 switches can be connected in series. The D40 series is ideal for common safety applications in FPD, automotive parts production, food, packaging and robotics.
